CheekyBoo Dating App Prepares to Launch in Dorset

The chance to download Dorset’s first dating App is almost here. CheekyBoo, an interactive, App-based, version of online dating, has been in the making for the last year and this October the ‘go-live’ date has been announced.

The App is the first of its kind in the UK, inviting like-minded people from any background to enjoy the accessible App, which allows you to connect with people in your area. The App features an individual profile, nine picture photo-gallery and instant chat service.

Borough of Poole investment for Lighthouse project

Lighthouse, Poole’s Centre for the Arts has announced a major step forward to achieving the funding required towards a £5.5m project to update the building.

Borough of Poole has confirmed that it will provide £650,000 funding towards the Capital development planned to improve the facilities.

The project will support Lighthouse to become more sustainable and resilient through the improvement of some aspects of the existing building and its operating infrastructure. Areas to be updated include the studio theatre, backstage artists’ accommodation, increased rehearsal and function room space and improvements to access and public foyers. Plans also include replacement and overhauling of engineering and electrical equipment – and a particular focus on sustainable initiatives to improve renewable energy and increase efficiency.

Affordable ladies boutique opens in Romsey

A brand new shop called, ‘Bojangles Boutique’ has opened in the heart of Romsey, the shop is owned and run by local entrepreneurs Claire Sykes and Kristelle Fillaut.

The well known mother and daughter team previously known for the highly successful Bojangles Brides in the town now sees them branching out, thanks to public demand, with the ladies fashion store, whilst they will still keep their links with prom wear and evening wear.
